how do you bill?

  • full service design - we bill at an hourly rate. billable hours, labor + reimbursable expenses are invoiced at the end of each month. Product proposals are sent after the design is approved. product shipping + tax is invoiced once the purchasing is complete.

  • virtual design assistance + construction drawings - we require a 50% non-refundable deposit to secure the estimated start date, and the final 50% balance prior to sending the deliverables.

  • virtual consultation - full payment is required prior to securing your appointment

where do meetings take place?

  • full service design meetings take place at the clients home, its always best to see finishes in the space so the finishes are accurate to the natural lighting. For smaller items we may send a presentation in email and/or schedule a phone call. 

  • Virtual design assistance + virtual consultation meetings can take place from anywhere you’d like, although it may be helpful (especially for consultation) for you to be in the space we are designing for visual purposes. All meetings are on EST.

  • Construction drawings - the walk through meeting, which includes spacial consult + site measure will be in your home, any meetings after that can be either in your home or virtual. 

HOW LONG DOES THE PROCESS TAKE?

  • full service design - 3-6+ months from ordering, depending on semi-custom + specialty furniture lead times. The length of the time it takes to get to ordering depends on you. The more decisive and clear you are with what you want, the quicker we can move. from initial call to product proposal typically takes 6-8 weeks. 

  • virtual design assistance - 4-6 weeks from initial call to receiving your comprehensive design package. 

  • virtual consultation - 30-60 minutes within a week or so from reaching out!

  • construction drawings - 3-6 weeks from initial call to receiving existing + proposed drawings

CAN YOU WORK WITH SMALLER BUDGETS?

In short, yes. But, achieving all your wants + needs is a different conversation, if you have a budget and wishlist in mind, lets schedule a call and see what we can do!

DO YOU WORK WITH EXISTING FURNITURE PIECES?

Yes, if you absolutely love it and it works with what you are hoping to achieve. Truth is, working with existing pieces does limit sizes, colors and textures of other elements in the space vs. working on a blank space, but it's totally doable.

where do you shop and do i get a discount?

We have spent several years in the industry creating relations with trade only vendors. Getting to know the quality and product lines. We rarely make exceptions for retail stores, but rules are meant to be broken (sometimes!). One of the many perks of working with a designer is having access to the trade only furniture + accessories that not just anybody can access. Making your items unique. We do pass on a portion of our discounts with our trade only vendors, this varies vendor to vendor and is at the designers discretion. All retail product is sold at list price. For design assistance clients, since we don’t do the purchasing, you do not receive trade only product or trade discounts.
